Valentine Country Music            

Some of the best country music and lyrics are just lying around waiting to be heard. My name is Edwin (Ed) Valentine Jr, songwriter and lyricist.  I have been playing guitar and playing music in one form or another since I was twelve years old.   Over the years I have written many songs and poems, some I have set to music and some I have not. On the Music Demo page you find demos of some of my work. On the Lyric page you'll find the lyrics to the demos, plus many lyrics that have yet to be set to music. 

Some of the songs I have written tell of little bit about the story of my life. Others, just come to me in a burst of inspiration.  Some I struggle with, and have to play with words and music to get it just the way I want it or the way I feel it should be. Keep checking back for updates.

What is this website all about?

As a lyricist, I created this website as a place to promote my music to the industry and to the public.  On the "Contact Us" page there is a form to send me feedback or a place to inquiry about any or all of my music.

All music demos and Lyrics are copyrighted and most are registered with BMI.  All rights are reserved.  Feel free to download any or all of my music for review and evaluation only.   More about that on the Music Demo and Lyrics pages.

Although I do a lot of singing, I don't feel my voice is good enough to sing my own demos.  For that reason I have had all the demos so far produced in a Studio in Nashville called Nashville Song Service.
